Shipping Rates & Options

At ModernLifeStyle, we offer the best freight rates possible, without inflating our prices. We can show you the exact freight cost per item and let you decide if you would like to pick up or use one of our HOME delivery options.

We can ship across all of North America, and we have 4 service packages to choose from.

Please contact us prior to placing an order to obtain a shipping quote. If you place an order without obtaining a shipping quote, we will contact you with shipping fees via email prior to shipping your product(s). You will need to respond to this email indicating that we can proceed with the order.

For larger items, please specify any special delivery instructions in the “order notes” area during checkout. Let us know about narrow streets, staircases in apartment buildings, etc. Some delivery companies may charge more if there are extraordinary shipping/delivery circumstances. If you have any concerns, please contact us.

With freight shipments, you are also required to inspect the packaging and items immediately upon receipt and indicate on the packaging and/or paperwork if there is visible damage. You may choose to refuse delivery of the item(s) only if the damage appears severe.

Please note that for items that include free shipping, customers will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs on Freight Delivery returns that are not damaged or incorrect.

Like freight shipping, you will be contacted by the carrier to schedule a delivery appointment (typically during M-F business hours), at which time you will need to be present to inspect the merchandise for any signs of damage. Our freight company will provide you with a window of 4 hours, where they will deliver and will require someone to be present to recieve. If you require a shorter window, there will be an extra charge.

Remote Shipping
We ship to Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and other remote regions but additional shipping fees may apply. Please contact us prior to placing an order to obtain a shipping quote. If you place an order without obtaining a shipping quote, we will contact you with shipping fees via email prior to shipping your product(s). You will need to respond to this email indicating that we can proceed with the order.

International Shipping

We ship to the US and other international locations but additional shipping fees may apply. Please contact us prior to placing an order to obtain a shipping quote. If you place an order without obtaining a shipping quote, we will contact you with shipping fees via email prior to shipping your product(s). You will need to respond to this email indicating that we can proceed with the order. Shipping costs do not include duty, tax, or brokerage fees as these are billed separately.
